Amandine Berthon
Writer and stylist
Amandine Berthon is a French journalist and stylist specializing in interiors.
Previously, she was a reporter for the French TV program Intérieurs, which focuses on interior design. She has also worked for leading home and interior publications and websites (Design@Home magazine, CôtéMaison.fr, Elle.fr).
Amandine is an expert in interpreting trends and sourcing products. She graduated from Université Paris X and École du Louvre with a degree in Art History. She then pursued a qualification in Interior Design at Greta – École Boulle.
Julien Fernandez
Photographer
Julien Fernandez is an international interior and architectural photographer based in France.
He creates photographic campaigns for architectural agencies, hotel groups (Club Med, Accor), developers, and interior design brands. He also contributes to editorial projects such as Wallpaper City Guide (Phaidon) and The Wall Street Journal Real Estate supplement.
Previously, he worked as a journalist for press agencies, accumulating 10 years of experience and collaborating with leading magazines such as Geo and National Geographic.
Together
Since 2010, Amandine and Julien have been combining their complementary expertise as a stylist, journalist, and photographer to create features for both French and international home magazines.
Their work: Producing a complete home feature, including around a hundred photographs—both empty and lived-in—accompanied by a written article and captions in French or English.
Their strength: Discovering inspiring and exclusive interiors, capturing them in words and images to express the personality of the spaces and their inhabitants.
Their signature style: A lively, lifestyle-driven approach to interior design.
To date, their features have been published in over 80 magazines across 20 countries, including Elle Decoration(France, UK, Sweden, China, South Africa), Living etc (UK),Inside Out (Australia), VT Wonen (Netherlands), Artet Decoration (France), Architectural Digest (Mexico),and Mad & Bolig (Denmark).
Amandine & Julien also bring their dual expertise as a photographer and stylist to brand communications. They create atmospheric product photos for websites and catalogs of furniture, tableware, and bedding manufacturers.
